I like a variety of genres, but here are some of my favorites artists.
skegss
If you want to get in a good mood, throw on Skegss. Their music is best played when the sun is shining. Most of the songs are quite short and the albums flow nicely. We were fortunate to see them live in Glasgow. The show was nothing but love and good vibes.
turnstile
A hardcore band from my home state. They are an absolute tour de force live. I’ve been to one of their shows and I was happy to survive it to tell the tale. I recommend anyone to go see these guys if you have the chance. Over the years, they’ve developed their sound a lot so it’s hard to call them only a hardcore band – it’s just Turnstile.
khruangbin
Groovy is the best way that I can describe Khruangbin. They blend some soul, Thai rock, and Iranian pop. Most of their songs are purely instrumental, which makes for great material to work or drive to. It’s easy to get lost in thought with their music.
